Having sat and read through the other woeful experiences other customers have had with online purchases and the distinct lack of service when you want to actually return any item for a refund I will be writing an email to the founder Raymond Cloosleman & Penny Grivea MD UK & Ireland. Love the products but they fall way short of providing any customer service - dont they read reviews?
They treat staff like dirt!
Management staff treat sales assistants/key holders in such an appalling manner that staff drop like flies, including me. They degrade you and make you look as if you can't do your job in front of customers and pass embarrassing comments that make everyone feel uncomfortable. I have never worked in a job that has caused me so much sadness before. It has lead me to breaking down into tears and ringing in sick because the thought of even going in gives you the worst anxiety. Shambles of a company in my opinion. The only benefits of working for the company is the pay and the occasional freebies, otherwise I wouldn't put yourself through the grief and trauma.

I see some negative reviews and I cannot understand it! My wife is a big fan of this shop and so on 25 May I went to the Kensington High Street shop to get her a gift. The staff member (I don’t know her name) was super helpful, kind, respectful and professional. I don’t usually dish out reviews but just had to leave a comment.
I ordered 12 gift sets to be send to 12 different addresses. Delivery costs were low, delivery was fast (1 - 2 days), invoices are available in my account and I could add a card with a personal message. One disadvantage is that the site refused my credit card after 5 orders (fraud protection so understandable) so I had to use another card for the remaining orders, but the costumer service was really helpful in this!
I have had a number of Rituals products and always find the volume of content to be far less than expected.
I had a moisturiser for instance, which smelled great but the container was shaped in a way that made it look twice the size with a huge notch bottom centre. It did not last long at all.
I have had 2 large shower gels that ran out very quickly. The container still feels heavy and rattles but gel has run out... And they are super expensive.
I also bought a matching shower gel for a moisturiser that smelled great, but the shower gell just smelled of lemon instead of the nice smell like the moisturiser .. Because who tests the shower gel in store??
Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda body cream and it's refill were a beautiful Valentines gift to me. It came with elegant sample gifts as well. Its a divine product, the scent is soft and feminine, yet slightly asian and citrus. It reminds me to take time to care for my body. My skin feels deliciously soft and supple after using it.
The presentation and packaging also beautiful. Will attach a photo of possible.

Really disappointed with this service. Ordered on January 9th and no sign of order. After numerous emails I find out that the order is "stuck" in their system. I asked for it to be reshipped and that was agreed only to receive an email now saying they can't resend it and have issued a refund which can take up to 14 days to show in my account and I have to re order again..... really bad customer service. Wont be ordering again.
They have a free gift on first order promo... but it’s false as when your order arrives the gift doesn’t. Tried to deal with it with them but they refused to honour and send!
I have to say I have had a very good experience with Rituals. I ordered two of their advent calendars for my daughter and I, they arrived in very good time and the products inside are amazing. There hasn't been one product that we haven't been pleased with. We've been through a very hard time recently so having a treat every day has lifted our spirits. Will be buying again next year.
I recieved my third order from Rituals in 2 months, great selection great prices for quality products and I love the free gifts if you spend over 40e????The Tsuru products is especially delicious, definitely recommend trying ????????
My wife wanted to buy some special presents for a friend for her 30th and having bought rituals in many shops thought it would be ideal. The online experience is quite the opposite to in-store experience and trust me not in the slightest bit relaxing!
She ordered on 1st November and noted that it could take 3-5 days for the order, her confirmation email said Thursday 5th for delivery. So come the end of the 6th she contacted their support as her order was just showing as "Picked". The support person told her it was down to a technical issue with the Elixir machine and it would be solved shortly, but if she needed to she could cancel her order and get a refund. He also promised a gift card within 24 hours to her email.
On Monday 9th she messaged again as she'd heard nothing, hadn't received her gift card as promised and didn't want to have her friend empty handed on a special birthday. This time it was because the order had some how got stuck in the Warehouse and initially said it couldn't be refunded, but confronted with the screenshot she backed down, but urged for patience on the matter. Also due to an issue at their end the gift cards are now taking 2-3 days to send out. My wife went out and got things from a local shop that afternoon for her friend.
It is now November 10th, they're still refusing to refund us and have no stopped replying to us on Twitter, Email and Facebook messenger. I fully expect this is because they're going to magically ship the goods shortly to make it harder to get said refund from them!
